This is a blog post we’ve been waiting to write up for years!! Literally years in the making! Courtney invested in us and had her high school senior portrait taken by us all the way back in the early years of Willow (back when we were still called Ryan DeVoll Photography) and since then, we’ve followed her, and her family every step of the way leading to this moment: her wedding. Back when we started Willow, we started it with 2 ideas in mind. One: that we get to know each and every client on a personal level so that way we’re more like friends rather than family and two: that we don’t treat every wedding like a cookie cutter wedding. This couldn’t have come more full circle for us when it came to Courtney & Rigoberto’s day. Over the last 10ish years we’ve gotten to know Courtney, and she quickly became more of a friend than a “client” and meeting Rigoberto made us smile from ear-to-ear like a family member meeting him for the first time. We could tell from the first meeting with him that he just wanted to make sure his bride got the wedding day she deserves, and on the day of, they were both giggling and smiling all night long. You can tell Courtney definitely brings out the best of Rigoberto and vise versa.
All of this to say that it was an absolute pleasure to document yet another important part to Courtney’s story. We can’t wait to see these two grow and their story to now become one and continue to unfold.

Meghan + Nick’s June wedding was absolutely beautiful. The Codman Estate set the backdrop for the most beautiful summer weddings anyone would ask for. Gorgeous weather for this incredible couple made the day complete! Megan’s attention to detail made everything go by seamlessly. We had a blast documenting the photo & video for this classy couple. It’s not every day you get to be on a property that was the hottest place to be in 1799. The grounds were absolutely stunning. The one thing that stuck out to us the most from this day was the wedding party. When folks ask us what the biggest party we’ve documented is…this definitely tops the cake. They were all so supportive of Meghan + Nick and so loving. Everyone close to them was involved from the get-go. We can’t wait to share more images from their big day, and their incredible wedding video but for now, here’s a sneak peek into their day:

Taylor & Will had a beautiful wedding at Gurney's Newport Resort & Marina in Newport this October. We were so honored to capture these two and their love story for their family, and generations to come. Chelsea & Michael have been planning their big day since 2019 and after COVID forced them to reschedule, change their venue and so many other obstacles, they decided to throw their big day at their parents house and let me tell you, it was absolutely beautiful! We couldn’t be happier with how the images turned out and cannot wait to share the video with you all!

Lisa & Paul are absolute incredible friends before they are clients. We got to know both of them over dinner a couple of times and they instantly reminded us what true love looks like. As a matter of fact, these two remind myself of Jenn and I’s relationship. Both of them are adventurous, loving, kind, and so thankful for everyone in their life. Their wedding was a true showcase of all of that. I am so excited to share a little sneak peek of their big day while we finish up their gallery and they finish their month long Europe honeymoon (anyone else of jealous of that? I know I am!)

I couldn’t be more excited about this blog post. We met Barbara and Brian about a year ago over the phone. After we chatted it up for a good hour and a half, we realized we should’ve been friends long before wedding planning came around. We have the same free spirited mindset, love for music, bands, and even share a love for Sam Smith. To top it all off they’re foodies just like Jenn and I. When we finally met just at the beginning of this year it felt like we were just meeting up with friends we haven’t seen in awhile. If I was being honest, I could’ve hung out with them all damn day.
Barbara & Brian got married at The Publick House in Sturbridge, MA - A venue we’ve been to a couple of times before. However this time, it was totally different. The place turned into a magical oasis filled amazing family, friends, great music, awesome food and even a Teepee hut. Barbara was one of our most “chill” brides this year. There was a point in the day where she realized she forgot her wedding shoes. If it was any other bride, this would’ve turned into a huge meltdown. Barbara just shrugged her shoulders, laughed and said “Oh well, I guess we’re going barefoot!” It was at that point I knew that Barbara was definitely a client turned bff. These two were absolutely amazing throughout the whole night. They were so photogenic and it definitely all paid off. I am beyond thankful to have been apart of Barbara & Brian’s special day. Thank you two so much for allowing me to capture it and for being amazing friends to us. I hope you both love this sneak peek as much as I do.

I am so excited to show you Danielle & Bryan's wedding. We met up with these two back last fall for their Lovebird session and absolutely fell in love with their little family (their dog is adorable!). Their wedding was nothing short of amazing. From the beautiful ceremony to their amazing venue, Skyline at Waterplace, everything was perfect -- Including the weather!
