Ahhhh! Finally! We are so excited to share with you Diana + Kirsten’s long awaited wedding! After being postponed in 2020, these two lovebirds decided COVID wasn’t going to stop them. They reached out to us, and felt so comfortable with Jenn and I that they actually wanted one of us to officiate an elopement so they can be “officially” be married in 2020. The elopement was so special that we knew that come 2021, their wedding would be just as magical. Well, the time finally came and it was more than magical, it was EPIC. Every detail, every moment, was just so perfect. We can’t wait to show you more. For now, enjoy this sneak peek!

Last year when COVID hit, Brianna & Justin didn’t let anything stop them. They gathered their friends and family in a small local, and safe setting by a park nearby their house and said “I do”. So this year, when a literal tropical storm threatened their big day, they didn’t even let it phase them. In fact, they told me they heard a rumor that if it’s suppose to rain on your wedding that you go around and but rosary beads around your house’s yard, your venue, and even your hotel, and the Lord above will grant you beautiful weather….and let me tell you - IT WORKED! It was literally raining cats & dogs while I was driving to Newport for Brianna & Justin’s big day and just when I pulled up, the rain stopped, the clouds disappeared and it was a beautiful summer day in the ocean state.
This just goes to show you that these two are ready to go through any storm, any battle, any PANDEMIC together, as one. They are some of the sweetest people we’ve ever met, and are so caring, loving, and kind. We had an absolute blast heading back to our favorite venue (Newport Vineyards) and hanging out with the staff there after what seemed like a lifetime thanks to COVID.

We don’t often travel for weddings. I’m not sure why. We actually L-O-V-E to travel. So anytime we get to combine our two favorite things: photography & traveling, we’re SO down. Thanks to Molly & Michael we were able to spend a beautiful September weekend in Vermont this year and the result was an incredibly fun day. These two just radiated fun all day long and it shows that in their relationship having fun is their number 1 priority. According to their family and friends, it’s what they all inspire to have in their relationships too. Molly & Michael - Thank you both for hosting such a magical weekend in the mountains. Michelle & Gary’s Plimoth Plantation wedding was absolutely beautiful last month. First off - I had no idea that Plimoth Plantation hosted weddings! Who knew the place we all went to in third grade would become a wedding destination for couples! In all seriousness, the location provided such a beautiful space for Michelle & Gary. It was secluded, quiet, and magical! Nestled in the woods, surrounded by their closest family and friends these two tied the knot. We cannot wait to show you this sneak peek of their special day.

Aubrey & Luke's wedding was absolutely fantastic. Set in the absolutely stunning Newport Vineyards (and maybe one of our favorite venues) we couldn't have asked for a better couple, venue, and wedding day! The weather was a blazing 95 degrees, the sun was out and you know what? I was just happy it didn't rain! I had so much fun getting to know these two over the past year. I remember when we photographed their Lovebird session at 5am in Newport. Seeing them smiling all day from ear to ear and really taking in every single moment was one of my favorite parts of the day. We walked away with some amazing images and in all honestly, there's so much more I wanted to show off! But for now we have a little sneak peek into their vineyard wedding below. Nicole & Pete are two people who are clearly made for one another. Both of them have so much fun in everything they do. From photographing their getting ready, ceremony and reception they had us dying laughing or in tears for how beautiful their day was. Seriously! (Although that's not abnormal for me, I think I cry at every wedding. What can I say? I'm a big sucker for love). Nicole & Pete made me feel like I was just another one of their bffs on the wedding day. They didn't want stuck up formal photos of themselves and they didn't want a ton of family formals. They just wanted to have fun. So I made sure that happened. I even got on the dance floor and whipped out a few moves (I'll spare you the agony of seeing that) We had a blast photographing their day and cannot wait to show everyone all their photos. Here we go! It's the very first wedding blog of 2017! Who's excited to see a sneak preview into Lauren & Josh's beautiful day? I know I am! I was so excited to photograph their story way back when they first booked me last year. We quickly got to know one another, had an awesome Lovebird Session and before you know it we were at their beautiful day, smiling ear-to-ear and having a great time.
Their wedding was at the amazing Quidnessett Country Club, a venue that I actually never had the chance to photograph at. However, I believe that gave me the advantage and a fresh eye! We had a blast with their wedding party, their family (especially Lauren's grandma who was on the floor from start to finish with some AWESOME dance moves), and their friends. Lauren & Josh sure know how to throw a party. Jenn and I even got on the dance floor and shared a few dances with everyone! We had a blast but more importantly, they had a blast and their photographs clearly show that.
