Chelsea + Michael | A Backyard Massachusetts Wedding

Another 2020 couple tied the knot in 2021 just the other week and we couldn’t be happier to share a little sneak peek of their big day! Chelsea & Michael have been planning their big day since 2019 and after COVID forced them to reschedule, change their venue and so many other obstacles, they decided to throw their big day at their parents house and let me tell you, it was absolutely beautiful! We couldn’t be happier with how the images turned out and cannot wait to share the video with you all!

But for now, meet this incredible couple who danced the night away with us!

Darlene + Martin | A Covid-19 Providence City Hall Wedding

COVID-19 has stopped a lot of couples plans to get married this year, but that didn’t stop Darlene & Martin from celebrating and making it “official” this year. Although their bigger reception will be next year, they still wanted to tie the knot this year and honestly, it was absolutely perfect. I personally love City Hall weddings because Providence has one of the prettiest spaces I’ve ever seen, with the best lighting too! Although only a few friends and family joined Martin & Darlene at the city hall, they were able to celebrate with a dozen or so more at their mom & dad’s beautiful home for their reception. An evening filled with chickens, ducks and their ADORABLE corgi, Ruggles we ended up having a blast. An oh, did I mention that Pranzi provided the rentals and catered the event with their amazing Paella (which I didn’t even know they offered, 10/10 would recommend). We’re so honored to have documented this special moment for these two and cannot wait for next year, but for now…

Peter & Anna | A backyard wedding

Last month, Jenn and I thought we'd have the month off and free from all the wedding madness. That was until Peter emailed me and told me about his backyard wedding that he was planning just a few weeks away. At first, their thought was to DIY everything they could. They soon realized that their wedding photos are the only thing that they'll have leftover and that's a bit scary to leave in the hands of a friend or family member. Plus - they wanted everyone to enjoy their day, especially their guests.

Peter is a screen writer, and Anna a teacher. I quickly got to know these two and their story. I was blown away at how much these two were in love. I get to meet a lot of couples and all of them truly are in love but Peter & Anna we're on a whole new level. They were madly in love with one another and it was so infectious and inspirational. I look up to these two and the story they've already created. They're each other's best friend, confidant, and lover. Their day was something I was looking forward to all month. It was so special, intimate and just plain perfect. I'll stop talking and let the photos speak for themselves.

Thank you both for allowing me to be apart of your special day and capture it in a true document format. You are amazing and I can't wait to show you the rest!

Maggie + Tyler | Weekapaug, RI Backyard Wedding

Maggie + Tyler are the sweetest couple ever. From the first time we spoke, all the way to their wedding day they were so kind and so loving. They both took time out of their busy lives to meet with me multiple times before their big day, and it soon started to feel like I was meeting up with friends rather than clients.

Their wedding in Weekapaug couldn't have turned out better. At the start of the day, we thought mother nature wasn't going to be so nice to us since it was pouring out. That didn't change Maggie & Tyler's attitude. They kept positive and it all worked out in the end! Just around the time Jenn and I arrived, the rain stopped and the skies cleared up (I maybe prayed a couple of times driving down to have the rain go away haha!) From the beautiful backyard her uncle provided, to the delicious food by A Thyme to Cook, and to end the night with the amazing band East Coast Soul (seriously, if you're getting married, check these guys out), the day turned out perfect.

We can't wait to share more photos from their big day but for now...Here are some highlights!

With love,
Ryan
